Jack Pierson (born 1960 in Plymouth, Massachusetts), photographer and an artist. He studied at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. Pierson has made a name for himself with a body of work that includes photographs, collages, word sculptures, installations, drawings and artists books.

Text engl. - „These photographs were made by Chauncey Hare to protest and warn against the growing domination of working people by multinational corporations and their elite owners and managers. (p. 2). - „In den späten 1960ern und frühen 1970ern schuf Chauncey Hare eine Serie detaillierter Innenaufnahmen von Arbeiterbezirken und Arbeitsstellen in ganz Amerika. Mit rund 170 Fototafeln enthält dieser Band mehr Aufnahmen, als jede Monografie über ihn zuvor.
