Together 3 volumes, each illustrated with 100 gravure reproductions of interior and exterior ornamental, and architectural details of both the Louvre and Tuileries, for a total of 300 photogravure plates. Complete sets of this title are rare. According to Malcolm Daniel, "Baldus first published his own photographs in photogravure form in a publication on the architecture and ornamentation of the Louvre and the Tuileries Palaces issued in installments beginning in 1869 [...] a publication that must have seemed ironically timely, for while it was still being issued the Tuilerie Palace and parts of the Louvre were burned down during the 1871 Commune." - Nur Kurztitelaufnahme 06.2006.
