Im Mittelpunkt stehen zunächst die Aktfotografien Westons, ein Genre in dem er einen erstaunlichen Stilwandel vollzogen hat: war es in den frühen 1920er Jahren noch impressionistische Kunstfotografie, konzentrierte sich Edward Weston zunehmend auf Formen und wählte unter diesem Aspekt die Bildausschnitte immer bewusster.
