Text engl., fr. - „Doug Biggert est né dans les années 40, dans le Midwest américain, a étudié à Saint Louis, a serré la main de John Kennedy quand il était à la fac, a traversé 50 États d’Amérique, a eu trois voirures en quarantes ans, et a décidé de photographier les auto-stoppeurs qu’il premait dans sa vieille Volkswagen coccinelle. C’était en 1973. Au total, 450 clichés de gens de toutes sortes, des habitants du coin pour des petits trajets, des gens du bout du monde, pour l’aventure.
