Text engl. - Japanese Postwar Photography presents work by three of Japan's most influential and prolific photographers of the postwar years, Hiroshi Hamaya, Shigeichi Nagano and Takeyoshi Tanuma. This catalogue includes a selection of 20 photographs taken in the immediate postwar period from the late 1940s to the early 1960s. The catalogue includes an introduction by Marc Feustel and biographies of the three photographers. The catalogue was printed to coincide with an exhibition held in Paris in November of 2005.

It includes young shooting-stars as well as established figures, who have decisively influenced important developments over the past thirty years. Text engl. - The winner of the annual Deutsche Börse Photography Prize was announced on 25 March 2009: Paul Graham. Other photographers, who were shortlisted for this year’s prize, are: Emily Jacir, Tod Papageorge und Taryn Simon. The Photographers’ Gallery in London was the opening venue for the exhibition between 20 February – 12 April 2009. Later in 2009 the exhibition will be shown at the C/O Berlin and between 28 August – 11 October 2009 at the Deutsche Börse Group headquarters in Frankfurt.
