The brochure incl. several essays on Lumière, on the manufacture of autochrome plates and on practical issues concerning the autochrome process, e.g. by Edward Steichen. The exhibition seems to have travelled from Paris elsewhere. For this a second edition, augmented catalogue was put in a paper portfolio, plus other materials, as a reprint „La photographie des couleurs et les Plaques autochromes. Lyon: Lumière s.a. [probably 1906] plus several single sheet published with the title: l „Les premiers autochromistes. Auguste et Louis Lumière; Fernand Arloing; Humbert Ducurtyl; Jean-Camille Duprat; Jean Tournassoud. A l’occasion de ses prochaines expositions (Lyon, Toulouse, Francfort, etc.) la FNP poursuivra cette série en publiant d’autres fiches consacrés à: Albert Morel; Gabriel Bargillat; Les précurseurs; vers la couleur (par Guy Borgé); Les Lumières et la couleur avant l’autochrome (par René Basset)“ [...].
